My first intership was entitled "Attaque automatique sur les protocoles basés sur l'exponentiation modulaire" (automatic attacks on protocols of the GDH family) and was made under the supervision of Olivier Pereira in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium).
It was really interesting and ended in a CamL program able to generate automatic attacks on protocol with at least 4 participantsit can also work with 3 participants, however some protocols with 3 are secure and there isn't any generic method to detect them and so it might become stuck in an infinite loop...
My second was under the supervision of David M'Raihi, in the Innovation Dept. at Verisign in Moutain View (California, US).
I worked on
several topics from Recommendation engine to Open ID...
It was a really nice first contact with corporate research.
I began my last intership at the ENS Crypto Team in Paris (France) under the supervision of David Pointcheval. I worked on Broadcast encryption and became familiar with the major techniques used in thoses protocols.
